Dem official expelled from Assembly during budget debate
In Sacramento a high ranking Democratic official was escorted from the Assembly chamber by Republicans while accused of being a lobbyist. Don Bradley, executive secretary of the State Central Committee and Stevenson campaign aide, sat in the gallery despite rules barring paid influence peddlers. Bruce Allen accused Bradley of improper seating as a whistleblower in a party clash over lobbyist status.
