Teens See Divorce With Little Stigma Among Youth
A survey of over 600 young people shows most teens see little social stigma in divorce and believe children of divorced couples can have normal homes. Eighty percent said yes, even 88 percent from broken homes. Many would avoid divorce only to protect children, and most support outside help for resolving marital problems. Custody views vary, with about half favoring the parent most capable of caring for the child.
