Car Safety Belts Cut Injury Risk In Auto Accidents
A Public Safety release by the Automobile Club of Southern California reports seat belts reduce injury risk by more than half when used properly. UCLA and Cornell studies support the finding, with CHP and LA police noting belts lessen injury severity. The piece also covers racing events, rider standings, and a charity motorcycle fundraiser for a CHP officer’s family.
