Mt Blanc Slides Kill 3 Workmen
Three men died and three were injured when snow slides buried workers at the Mt Blanc tunnel project near Courmayeur Italy. A search continued as diggers cleared bunkhouses and rescuers pulled bodies from the snow. The 7.2 mile tunnel links Courmayeur and Chamonix and is expected to open to traffic next year.
