Joint U S Soviet space mission seen for 1975
The Manned Spacecraft Center director Christopher Kraft says a joint U S Soviet space mission is three to four chances likely, probably in 1975, with technical talks advancing smoothly on a joint docking mission. He notes 75-25 odds in favor, cites $700,000 study cost, and envisions a 14 day mission with Salyut, Soyuz, and a U S command module docking in orbit.
