Five Governors Visit Emperor Hirohito in Tokyo Audience

Islands Restored to Japan

The United States and Japan signed an agreement returning the Bonin and Volcano island groups to Japan. SACRAMENTO UPI Gov Ronald Reagan promotes a $155 million property tax relief plan backed up by an alternative measure from Assemblyman Ken MacDonald.
