Education on VD urged at 7th grade
The National Commission on Venereal Disease urged substantial increases in VD control funding and school programs beginning no later than seventh grade. It called for closer cooperation with free clinics serving youth and the poor, amid an alarming rise in reported venereal disease and epidemic levels of syphilis and gonorrhea.
