Acting industry to end discrimination in employment
Washington reports a turnkey pact among the motion picture and TV industries to end discrimination in craft, administrative, and clerical jobs. The agreement requires minority labor pools, a 20 percent floor for permanent craft roles, active recruitment, and protections against discriminatory testing and union membership barriers.
