Irregular Humour and Schoolroom Mischief From Wisconsin era

A fragment from a 1857 Wisconsin issue spoofs politics and social folly. It lampoons snobbish charity, a provincial politician with Lemon, a Napier anecdote, and an Irish anecdote aboard a ship. It recounts Parliament inaction, a queen's inquiry, and a comic classroom incident with a red headed scholar and a bribe joke.
