Fragmentary notes show a town meeting with votes on accounts and pauper bills. Names J. McD Smith and Firner appear with small sums. payments authorized and disputed items noted. A later line advertises Newton proposing rooms in a large hall for public buildings and meetings.
A notice announces a county seat relocation vote to be held April next in the sevracisetion precincts. Eligible voters in the county may cast ballots on the removal from Pressatt to the SW 5 B 14 Sec 18 8 E 1-4 and other described land areas. The secretary of state signs the notice with the Great Seal.
City council minutes show a regular meeting called by the mayor with aldermen listed including Swithh Smith Schafer and Barnaed. The record notes accounts approved, committees assigned, and payments authorized to town and Prescott accounts with specific dollar amounts and cashier orders.
