County Board Adjourns Amid Delay on Ayres and Baily Accounts
The Board authorized the Chairman Clerk and County Treasurer to settle accounts of ex treasurers J Ayres and J Baily if deeds of warranty to the county are made and recorded by January 1 1860. The District Attorney is told not to foreclose mortgages, and the Treasurer may discharge claims against the county up to the deed date, subject to no new facts. An amendment to table the resolution failed and the resolution was adopted after vote counts.
