Arkansas railroads cited for contempt of court
Little Rock November 17. R Allen John W Crockett and J F Hampton of the Railroad Commission of Arkansas and Roy D Campbell prosecuting attorney were cited to appear before Judge Trieber in the United States Circuit Court on Thursday November 10 at 9 80 o clock to show cause why they should not be dealt with for contempt of court for alleged violation of the court s injunction regarding passenger and freight gates in Arkansas. The order followed petitions of the Rock Island and the Tron Mountain railroads. The filing of penalty suits Saturday in Pulaski Court underpins the petitions by the roads.
