The News seeks better mail for Emmet and three rural routes. Grayson requests a closed pouch from Prescott on train No. 85 at 7 10 a.m. to deliver mail within hours rather than 24 to 48 hours. Paper posted by 7 p.m. would reach Emmet by 7 30 a.m., then depart for rural routes an hour later, cutting delivery time by about a day.

Harvey Watterson Falls to Death from Wall Street Office
New York Nov 11 Harvey W Watterson lawyer and son of Henry Watterson editor of the Louisville Courier Journal plunged from the nineteenth floor of his office building at 37 Wall Street late afternoon. His body fell about 110 feet and struck the roof of a ten story building adjoining. Almost every bone was broken and the end crushed. Death was instantaneous. No witnesses to the tragedy. It was described as entirely accidental. Watterson’s hat and coat were on his desk. He presumably attempted to lower the window or leaned over the radiated sill and toppled forward to death on the roof below.
