Nevada County official presidential vote canvassed
The Board of Election Commissioners met at the courthouse to canvass the presidential vote. Total turnout was about 100 less than the state elections with Democrats 1390, Republicans 786, People's Party 135, Socialists 47, Prohibition 9, Independent 4. Wallace's majority 211. Leake township provided the final box with Republicans up by 56.
