Derailed Car Blocks Track Near Junction City Depot
A noon derailment on the north end of the depot track halted a northbound local when a broken rail on the house track sent a flat car loaded with lumber off the rails. In a federal court in Pexar Kana this week Tobe Langford of Prescott was indicted and convicted of selling whisky without a federal license and sentenced to four months in Ft. Smith jail. Langford will be moved to Ft. Smith today to begin serving his sentence.
