Decoration Exercises Honor Soldiers At DeAnn Cemetery
About 500 Piscott citizens joined a Memorial Day style program at DeAnn Cemetery with Confederate and Federal graves decorated. Leaders including O B Jones Rev T D Scott and Capt W R White spoke as a floral tribute was placed on every marked grave. The event concluded with ceremonial readings by McRae and Mrs Pittman and a pledge to hold similar ceremonies yearly.

School Board Chooses Assistant Teachers and Upgrades Facilities

Lightning Strikes Huff House in Noon Incident
A bolt hit the home of W A Huff, the Trad Scott property, at noon injuring no one but terrifying the family.
