Attorneys Seek Release From State Asylum
Little Rock June 29 Attorneys for Albert Baker of White Rock Franklin county a wealthy planter began arguments for a writ of habeas corpus to obtain his release from the state insane asylum. Baker shot and killed Wallace Bright his friend and neighbor because Bright was too friendly with his wife Bright was killed in 1913 Baker was indicted for murder but found not guilty on grounds of insanity at the time of the killing. The circuit judge ordered Baker committed to the asylum. Dr Frank B Young superintendent testified today that Baker is apparently sane.

No Extra Session Of Legislature In Arkansas
Gov Hays in Little Rock says he has no plan to call an extra legislative session even if the Supreme Court enjoins school fund payments.
