Litt Rock June 30 The time and place for the next encampment of the Arkansas National Guard have not been decided yet but an announcement on the matter is expected Lloyd England commanding 26 in the East on business will return by Washington and tie the situation to the War Department. A question remains whether Arkansas and Texas units will hold separate or joint encampments. The encampment will last six weeks and cost 43000 to be paid by the United States Two battalions will camp together for efficiency.

Two youths granted appeal to Supreme Court
Two youths condemned to die in the electric chair for the Benton murder of merchant L H Thompson last winter have been granted appeals to the Supreme Court as a stay of execution. Clarence Degein and Joe Strong filed transcripts with their attorneys Grover Owen and Hart respectively. The court plans an open examination July 3 for bar admission and will adjourn for term on July 13.
