Beware of Unclean Milk Warned by U S Agriculture

The U S Department of Agriculture warns housewives during hot weather that milk can easily become contaminated after delivery. Prompt refrigeration is urged, with tips on keeping bottles clean, using ice boxes, and preventing odor transfer from onions. Oilstones and Scythe Stones Production in 1913

According to Frank J. Katz of the United States Geological Survey total US oilstones and scythe stones production in 1913 was 207 352 dollars, down 24 866 from 1912. Oilstones were produced mainly in Arkansas Indiana Ohio and Kentucky with Arkansas leading for years while New Hampshire led scythestone output with contributions from Vermont Ohio and Michigan.
