Aurora June 26 Independent Harvester of Plano Illinois appoints William Deering Steward as president replacing W C Thompson who stays on at reduced pay. Board resignations follow a May 8 suit by 27,000 stockholders alleging mismanagement and failure to deliver machines. Steward leads a new slate including A Frank G Hanchett and others. Thompson is accused of converting 350000 stock into treasury.

McNab Resigns as U S District Attorney in San Francisco

Prize fighter acquitted in McCarty death
