Oil Well Begins Drilling Near Prescott
After weeks of erecting derricks and setting up the engine the oil well on M. W. Greeson land, about one mile east of Prescott, starts drilling this afternoon. T. G. Phillips holds options on large Nevada county land and selected this site for the first test. Oil may be found at about 1200 feet with drilling to be rushed.
