Little Rock June 21 Dr Freder ick Burgess of Saline county was bound over to the federal grand jury charged with harboring deserters and obstructing recruiting. Burgess said he was a Socialist until last October and was postmaster at Owensville until January 1. He denied disloyalty, said he advised community boys to obey laws, and that he advised one man recently arrested for failing to report to attend the first officers training camp but refused.
