Church Steeple and Manse Destroyed by Fire
A Sunday dawn fire struck the Presbyterian church steeple and the adjacent manse, a heavy rain and storm hindering efforts. The church and home were destroyed, pastor Rev. H. W. Steen and his family left with only some house goods insured for 1000 dollars on the church and manse and 500 on household effects.
