Six Killed in Rear-End Wreck on New Haven Line

Stamford June 14 six people are dead and many injured after a rear end collision between two sections of the Boston New York passenger train on the New York New Haven Hartford line. Reporter Gregory T. Humes of the New York World dies of injuries. Engineer Charles Dougherty and his fireman are missing. Prosecutor Carter vows a thorough probe into the wreck and cause.
