Mickle Reports Strong Confederate Veterans Reunion

Birmingham June 11 The second day’s attendance at the United Confederate Veterans reunion surpassed the first. Major General William E. Mickle released his year end report for 1907 noting strong dues payment, new camps, revived camps, and a higher percentage of camps paying dues. Receipts reached 6490.21 with disbursements at 6358.42. He recalled veterans who had answered their last roll call and highlighted a grand floral parade with nearly three miles of vehicles along major streets.
