R. E. Greene of Texarkana, a salesman for Tayloe Paper Company of Memphis, spent yesterday in the city while H. D. Chavis, an attorney from Pine Bluff, attended chancery court today.
The Senate adopted four joint resolutions authorizing a $1,000,000 relief appropriation for Colorado flood victims. The funds may be used for sanitary measures, subsistence, shelter, and other aid to alleviate personal distress. In Pueblo, flood death toll reached 55 with many bodies awaiting burial due to damaged roads. property damage estimated at $15 to $20 million.
On June 1 J W Ferguson of Breckin Ridge Texas and Miss Myrtle Lynch of Prescott were united in marriage. The bride visited her sister in Bonham before the ceremony in Sherman Texas. They proceed to Brecken Ridge where Ferguson runs a mercantile business and Myrtle has many friends who regret her departure. well wishes were offered.
