Ocean steamer on fire off Waarden Oxonian reported

A large four masted liner with yellow funnel the Oxonian is on fire off Waarden. The Le Land line vessel sailed from New Orleans for Antwerp via London May 4 and was last reported at Antwerp June 1. Body Found in Arkansas River Near Cowlington

A body of a white woman was found in drift near Cowlington by local fishermen. Authorities believe she is Mrs. George Glover, who with two family members drowned last Thursday night in the swollen Canadian River near Butaila, Oklahoma.
