The Democratic State Convention in Little Rock elected eight delegates at large to the national convention in Baltimore. The slate includes Senators James P. The Southern District re nominated W P McKnight and the Northeastern District named G W Bellamy, both unopposed in primaries. Little Rock June 6 The fate of the Republican organization in Arkansas hinges on the national committee in Chicago tomorrow. If Taft is nominated and Roosevelt fails to unite, dual organization may continue in Arkansas. If Roosevelt wins, recognition of the Roosevelt organization is likely. Prominent leaders attend in Chicago including H L Remmel and Gen Powell Clayton for Taft and J A Comer Sid B Redding and W S Holt for Roosevelt. Remmel expresses strong confidence in the outcome. Taft forces lodge at the New Sherman Hotel while the Roosevelt camp stays at the La Salle.

Information comes to the Little Rock Flood Relief Committee that Eastern Arkansas flood victims need seed to plant lands for a safe crop. The committee has raised $1000 this week and will raise more if needed to aid the Chamber of Commerce in purchasing seed, especially for farmers in Chicot County.
