New York June 1 The Missouri Pacific Railway was saved from trouble when it was announced that the plan to exchange 25 million dollars of three year five per cent notes due now for a like amount of one year six per cent notes had been made definitive. The final extension date was set forward to dyneath. The Gould estate and Speyer and Company bankers were said to have agreed to buy notes from holders who refused the extension, an amount estimated at three to five million dollars. The bankers willingness to buy parts of the notes surprised since the plan’s success hinged on full holder assent.
