Death of Mrs Snell Shocks Emmett Community

The death of Mrs Snell at the family home marked a somber day in Emmett where she lived a year as Jno Snell’s wife and former Miss Em Chris. The funeral was held at the residence with Rev Idling officiating and burial in Snell cemetery attended by many Prescott friends and family. The city’s shops closed for ten days affecting about 1,200 workers and reducing payroll for March to roughly half.

Mountain Shops to Close Under Orders From St. Louis

Woodruff v St Louis Iron Mountain damages awarded

January term of Claris County Circuit Court adjourned with Mrs Calilie Woodruff awarded $1 000 damages against the St Louis Iron Mountain and Southern after a case argued by J K Bradley and C C Hamby. The incident involved being put off a train en route to Chattanooga.
