Dallas Banker Receives Four Year Sentence
Dallas, Tex. Dec. 27. Fred Fleming, president of the defunct Western Bank and Trust company, convicted in criminal court of accepting deposits after knowing the bank insolvent, was sentenced to four years in the penitentiary. The bank had liabilities of 1,500,000 when it failed.

Brothers in Prescott Killings Shocks City
Will W Hendrix shot and killed his brother George Henry Hendrix at their West Main Street store in Prescott. Authorities say the brothers argued after a supposed insult and Henry died after two bullet wounds. The coroner ruled the shooting justifiable and Will was bound over for Grand Jury. Burial for Henry set at Mt. Moriah with many grieving locals.
