Burglars Blow Safe At Emmet Mercantile Company
Thieves blew open the safe at Emmet Mercantile Company in Emmet eight miles south of town early this morning. No money was taken as deposits had been moved to Prescott Bank. Sheriff Dillard went to Emmet. robbers cut telephone lines and left after taking valueless certificates of deposit. A $100 reward is offered by both the bank and mercantile for capture.
