New Board Seizes Charitable Board Control in Arkansas

The state Democratic convention appointed a Pine Bluff committee to draft a new primary law for the Legislature. Chairman Stephen Brundidge led the meeting with members James Hill John Moore McRae and Stayton present. They adjourned to Little Rock January 2 to frame the bill and submit drafts. Judge Hill conferred with officials on railroad rate litigation before returning to Fort Smith.
