Girl Sticks to Husband Elopement Arrest News
In Muskogee Oklahoma a man J E Freer was arrested while stepping from a Missouri Kansas and Texas train with his bride Myrtie Lange formerly of Springfield Illinois. The girl is claimed to be 16 but Freer says she is of age. It was an elopement and Freer admits the act. The sheriff at Springfield sent a telegram confirming the marriage. The couple insists they will stay together.
