Advertises Zemo and Zemo Soap as universal eczema cures for all ages. Claims deep action to remove germ life and cites relief for itching burns rashes and scalp eruptions. Endorsed by Hesterly Drug Store Prescott and presented as non experimental proven remedies.
Reports state Sid Hicks was killed by Tom Chambliss in Hempstead County on Wednesday. Chambliss surrendered to Hempstead officers in Washington. Conflicting accounts say the dispute involved a small sum of money or long standing issues. Sid Hicks reportedly did not participate in the dispute. the fatal shot may have been aimed at his brother John.
Secretary Hodges announces the 96th Arkansas Supreme Court report is printed with 1,200 copies and 1,510 pages covering opinions from July to December 1910. General acts sold at $1.50. two volumes sold together. Five thousand copies printed, 4,500 to legislators and officials, about 500 for sale. Printing cost about $12,000. expected return under $750.
The W C T U met at Mrs A P Burrus home with good attendance. Delegate Mrs W W Rice reported to the state convention and was well received. A holiday meeting is scheduled for Thursday December 21 at Mrs Sam Logan's home.
A local fruit sale lists big red apples priced at 40 cents per peck. J. H. Kershaw promotes the offer, inviting customers to purchase fresh produce at a bargain price.
The Turner-Jacobson bill is the central issue in state politics with a Texarkana debate Monday night featuring EF Friedell opposing and Simins supporting. Friedell led opposition in the Legislature and headed the signature drive for the referendum petition. Simms backed the measure in the House.
