Burial halted as supposed corpse shows signs of life
Dec 3 report from the city describes preparations for the burial of James Duncan being interrupted when observers noted breathing and the doctor, after examination and treatment, declared him not deceased. Burial clothes were removed and the body left unburied.

Unwritten Law Case Heads Circuit Court Session
Clarksville reports public interest in the upcoming Circuit Court session starting Monday. The principal case is Orville Daniels charged with killing his former partner Dr. J. W.
