Work at the Diamond Fields in Murfreesboro Arkansas proceeds rapidly with piping and a water pump received to drain the Little Missouri river area. Operators report signs of profit as over 175 diamonds have been found. M M Mauney found a diamond on land leased by Hess and turned it over to Hess.

Detroit to Dallas by Billy Bounce Ends in Arkansas Stump Collision
Fred Crebbin, William Rodgers and W. H. Workman tour from Detroit to Dallas in the 1908 Prickard touring car. The journey covered 37,000 miles since February and reached Memphis before Arkansas where a stump collision paused the trip. The car was repaired in Little Rock and the travelers resumed southward crossing the Mississippi at 10:30 Tuesday morning.
