Three youths charged with bank robbery near Bodcaw
Harry Simmons Joe Ed Smith and George Brown aged 20 to 30 were arrested in Hope by Sheriff L C Steele and Deputy O G Cantley and brought to jail on robbery charges. They allegedly robbed Ben Baker near Bodcaw of 1000 dollars on Sunday morning November 23. Baker and his mother were bound as the robbers searched the house for the money before fleeing. A preliminary hearing before Justice Burns is set for this afternoon. Smith from Bodcaw and Simmons and Brown from Hope are in custody.
