Washington May 15 AP officials forecast a quick close to the 16 day oil strike involving about 90 000 workers. O A Knight CIO Oil Workers union said the strike was being called off as local agreements with management move to end the walkout. Federal conciliation teams set up 15 negotiating sessions around the country for tomorrow as unions and companies bargain on a local basis.

Seeds Bought By Children for Philippines Seeds

Boyertown Man Hurt as Sedan Rolls Off Road
A 62 year old Boyertown man, George Miller of Boyertown Body Works, was seriously injured when his 11 year old sedan rolled off Route 06053 into woods near the Boyertown reservoir. He suffered internal injuries and fractured ribs. Taken to a Pottstown hospital by a passerby, he was reported resting comfortably. The car, a 1941 sedan, sustained about $250 damage.
