Local Man Fined After Attempt To Catch Law's Arm In Window
Peter J. Kuspis, 22, of West Fourth Street, was fined 510 and costs after a borough patrolman testified Kuspis tried to close a car window on the arm of the law and backed the car up as the officer walked behind it. The charge, disorderly conduct, was heard before Justice Raymond C. Keller after an 2 a.m. disturbance on High Street involving about a dozen youths on the steps of a local home. The officer said Kuspis used obscene language, threatened to "get him," rolled up the car window on the arm, and at one point started the car as the officer approached. The patrolman drew his revolver and ordered Kuspis to stop.
