Washington Dec 14 Spies stole military secrets from the Aberdeen proving ground before the war investigators said Rep Mundt of South Dakota told reporters. The leaks covered formulae and leading information about hitting and defensive power. the period cited is 1937 to 1939. Mundt said the stolen data is not about the atomic bomb or tanks. He suggested a civilian employee was involved linked to the Chambers underground, though the name has not appeared in testimony. Chambers said a woman Communist Party member threatened him after leaving the party. The inquiry continues as Mundt said the identity has been shown to the Justice Department.

Missing Yule Tree Found in School by Ninth Graders
Three ninth grade Potts town boys were arrested by North Coventry Police Chief Daniel Guldin for chopping a 14 foot black spruce from the Gruber estate on Schuylaill road Kenilworth. The tree was found at Potts town Junior high school where the boys had taken it for their classroom. The theft occurred on December 7 and may bring further action after additional questioning and a conference with Justice Ralph Ralston. The chief warned that adults involved will face the full extent of the law and noted the loss of a valuable tree grown for over a decade.

Kepler Death Inquest Scheduled Today
An inquest into the highway death of Robert F. Kepler 67 of Sonwerxville is set for today at 10 am before Coroner W J Rushong at Montgomery County courthouse in Norristown. Kepler died Dec 3 at Pottstown hospital from injuries received Nov 30 when struck by a car on Swamp Pike near Route 663. He was an employee of the Montgomery County Highway Department and was entering a truck when the accident happened. State Police identified the driver as Richard Jones 17 of Gubertsvile RD 1.
