Teachers Plan $400 Pay Boost At Pottstown Meeting Today
The Pottstown Teachers association salary committee led by Miriam Ludwig will present a four point program at 3 45 p m in the Junior High school auditorium seeking higher maximum salaries for all professional employees, a $400 yearly increment for 1953 54, a $100 annual raise for every five years of service starting 1954 55, and additional increases based on credits or degrees. The proposal comes in a letter to the school board arguing that current plans fail to address financial concerns or reward experienced teachers.

UF Workers Report Final United Fund Total
Pottstown's United Fund ended the drive with $139,848 raised toward a $198,860 target at the final luncheon. Chair- man Jacob R.
