Doctor Works 21 Hours Over Boy's Cut Foot
A Pottstown physician spent 2.3 hours yesterday suturing blood vessels and muscles in the left foot and leg of Robert Maute after he was cut by a broken deer bottle along the Schuylkill river bank. Dr M Morton Gratz said over 100 sutures were needed and the boy, treated first in the hospital dispensary, was in traumatic shock on arrival and had lost a quart of blood before his father applied a tourniquet.

An autonomous truck loaded with eight tons of steel beams rolled from a curb at 1 40 p m on High street near Rosedale drive, striking and lifting three parked cars into the street.
