University to establish Bureau of Preventive Medicine

A Missouri university bureau will disseminate disease prevention information next year. Free advice will be given to Missourians on controlling typhoid fever cholera whooping cough and other contagious diseases. The bureau operates under the School of Medicine with Dr CM Jackson as dean and WL Omdvert in direct charge. It aims to reduce preventable deaths and supports preventive medicine education in schools and university outreach.
