Akron Ohio Oct 30 Two larger than former dirigibles to be built for a Pacific Zeppelin Transport line linking Southern California to the Philippines in 1933 The planners say the all American fleet will avoid international issues and carry 80 passengers and 10 tons of mail and freight. Separately $54 600 in government payroll funds was traced to Lieut Charles Musil after his surrender aboard the USS Seattle in New York on Oct 14 The money was found hidden in a chicken yard and Musil was a Portsmouth V Navy figure known from his career.

Golden Anniversary Observed at Brown Home in City
In a recognition of their golden wedding anniversary Mr and Mrs Walter L Brown longtime city residents held a reception at their Cabot street home Tuesday evening from 7 to 9. Over 200 relatives and friends attended in the receiving line were Mrs Frank Muchemore sister of Mrs Brown and Washington Stott. also present were Mrs Frank Randall and Clement Waterhouse of Hampton. Mrs Randall is the former Miss Belle Randall bride 90 years ago. The couple wed on the bride’s twentieth birthday. They have two sons Walter L Brown Jr and George R Brown, a daughter Mrs Noel V Campbell, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mr Brown served in local banks 48 years and was bank messenger two years ago. The anniversary was marked with gifts, flowers, and a noon dinner at Alpharetta Lodge.

Tornado Strikes Edge of Houston in October Damage
One man may die after a tornado struck the Houston edge area causing the destruction of about a half dozen houses and damage to barns garages and roofs. Mr Bi Works and his wife were injured and a couple, Mr and Mrs J M Martin, were carried 500 feet in their bed with Mrs Martin possibly internally injured. Near Alieri the storm caused further damage as the Post Office prepares for Christmas mail handling.

Missing plane arrives safely in Albuquerque
A tri motored Western Air Express plane led by James Coles landed safely at the Albuquerque airport amid a snow storm. Pilot James E. Doles and co-pilot Allan C. Parke brought the stranded No. 113 under power as a search party mounted an expedition for missing aviators Dr. A. W. Ward of San Francisco and W. E. Merz of Mount Vernon. The aircraft had been reported missing since 4.39 Monday afternoon. Twisting the handle of a new tennis racket tightens the strings for playing.
