Acox Crowell Wedding Held in Kensington Church

A Kensington Congregational ceremony united Lida Mae Crowell and Wayne Douglas Cox in marriage. Rev. Sanford Fath officiated with a double ring rite attended by family and friends. The bride wore a white lace gown with a sabrina neckline and a nylon illusion veil. A reception for about 200 followed at the Kensington Town Hall.

DAR Chapter Elects Officers At May Meeting

Bonita Zingale Weds Joseph Graves in Cleveland Ceremony

Miss Bonita Marie Zingale daughter of Vinceny J. Zingale of Cleveland married Joseph P. Graves son of Mrs Murgery Graves of Bernard the at St Paul s Aires venue. Junior Women Fete Mrs Drake At Club Banquet

NORTH HAMPTON The Junior Woman's Club held its annual banquet and officers installation at the Flagstones Restaurant in Newington. Mrs Philip J Drake attended as guest and gifts were presented to retiring president Mrs Donald R Felmer and advisor of the year Mrs Drake. New officers included Mrs John G Doggett as president and Mrs Richard MeIlveen as vice president. The club earned federation awards for Home Life Conserva Vien and Dal vation and planned an executive board meeting to set next year’s program.

Open for Season at Aaron Conant House Antiques Display

The Aaron Conant House at Washington and Jefferson streets, built about 1683, opens for the summer season Friday and runs until October 15. Hours are weekdays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and weekends 1 to 5 p.m. A display of antiques and handcraft gifts by the Guild of Strawbery Banke, Inc. will be shown with opening day punch served.

Portsmouth Garden Club Awards at Federation Meeting

The Portsmouth Garden Club earned honors at the New Hampshire Federation annual gathering. Officers were installed led by Mrs. Dablaren of Concord Rein Went Mins and Mrs. Alyrick Crane of Tamworth chaired awards for state and national programs. Local clubs shared trophies for yearlong flower shows, scrapbooks, yearbooks, and civic beautification projects, with grants supporting new initiatives.

Fremont Grange Plans Memorial Day Services

Fremont Grange met with Mrs. Elizabeth Lewis and eight members. They will meet at the village cemetery on Memorial Day to help decorate service men graves. Flowers honored Mrs. Dorothy Sanborn Mrs. Annie Heselton and Mrs. Eva M. Bassett. The chaplain led the service. Everett Spaulding Mrs. Charlotte Crammett and Clarence Batbrick were reported sick. A program by The Three Graces and a Traffic Safety presentation are planned for June 12 with Wingold Grange invited.
