Mary Frances O'Brien Adams died at 90 in her Kittery home after a life of family, faith, and small business. Co founder of Kittery Trading Post in her 20s she earned a pilot permit in her 50s parasailed on Long Lake in her 70s and rode roller coasters in her 80s. She raised 14 children along with 41 grandchildren and 51 great grandchildren, and was the first female Eucharistic minister at St. Raphael's Church. Her family gathers annually at Long Lake and Moosehead while continuing the business now led by son Gary Adams and relatives.
