Touched by angels at Portsmouth Mother’s Day cruise

Fran Castellucio of Berwick Maine shuttles her daughter to dance classes three days a week. Her Mother’s Day treat came from Isles of Shoals Steamship Company offering a free cruise to all mothers accompanying a paying guest. Fran enjoyed the brief harbor ride with her sons James and John and husband Jack during the hour long voyage.

Moms wear love with heart shaped pin at museum

Six year old Cameron Zavaski and his mother Heather lark shared a handmade gift moment at the Children's Museum on Sunday. Cameron used a note card and markers to craft a heart shaped pin for his mom, who then made one in return.

Leadership failures blamed for Iraqi inmate abuse at Abu Ghraib

Laugh legend dies Alan King passes away at 76

Longtime comedian Alan King who appeared 93 times on The Ed Sullivan Show died Sunday from lung cancer at age 76. His career spanned decades with sharp humor and frequent television appearances. King became a staple of stage and screen, leaving a lasting imprint on American comedy.
