Phoenix May 7 a large deposit of white onyx was found in the Baea land grant in Yavapai county recently bought by an English syndicate led by Lord Thurlow. Several specimens were brought here. It is said to be the only bed or deposit of white onyx known and it is without a flaw or a crack.

The party will travel through northern Maine to inspect forest lands and pulp supply and expect to return by Saturday evening.
