Sailors claim damages after Maine explosion in Havana Harbor

Harry McCann seaman on the ill fated Maine filed a $10,000 claim with the Spanish claims commission for injuries from the Havana harbor blast. Catherine Burns, a Marine corporal, had a $20,000 claim filed on her behalf for death in the same explosion, alleging Spain's direct or indirect responsibility.
